Complaints and Reporting Policy

Terms, rules and information for visitors and independent advertisers using LondonMassage.com.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. PURPOSE

This policy explains how to report a listing or complain about LondonMassage.com. We aim to act fairly, promptly and proportionately while protecting safety, privacy, freedom of expression and the rights of everyone involved.

LondonMassage.com is a paid advertising directory. Advertisers are independent providers. We can review content and use of our advertising service, but we do not investigate or determine criminal guilt, professional fitness to practise, or a private treatment dispute in place of the police, courts, regulators or Advertiser.

2. EMERGENCIES AND EXTERNAL REPORTING

  • Immediate danger or a crime in progress: call 999.
  • Non-emergency crime: contact the police on 101 or police.uk.
  • Urgent medical help: call 999 or NHS 111 as appropriate.
  • Suspected child sexual abuse material or online grooming: report to police and, where appropriate, the Internet Watch Foundation.
  • Modern slavery, trafficking or exploitation: contact police or the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline.
  • Misleading advertising: the Advertising Standards Authority or Trading Standards may be appropriate.
  • Misuse of a regulated title/conduct: contact the relevant regulator, such as HCPC, General Osteopathic Council or General Chiropractic Council.

Reporting to us does not replace contacting an authority. We may make or preserve a report where required or reasonably necessary by law.

3. WHAT YOU CAN REPORT

Use “Report this listing” for concerns including:
• inaccurate, misleading or outdated information;
• false qualifications, registration, identity, location or images;
• unlawful or unsubstantiated medical/health claims;
• sexual services, nudity, exploitation, trafficking or safeguarding risk;
• impersonation, copyright/privacy infringement or misuse of personal data;
• fraud, dangerous conduct, discrimination, harassment or other unlawful content;
• a broken, compromised or malicious link; or
• breach of the Listing and Image Rules.

Use the general complaints route for complaints about our advertising service, moderation decision, accessibility, customer service, billing, Site operation or another matter within our control.

Use the privacy complaint route for how we collect, use, disclose, retain or secure personal information, or how we handled a data right.

4. HOW TO REPORT OR COMPLAIN

Listing concerns: use “Report this listing”.
General complaints: email yafai@hushmail.com or use the Contact page on the Site.
Data-protection complaints: email yafai@hushmail.com or use the Contact page and identify the message as a “Data protection complaint”.

Please provide:
• listing URL/reference, if applicable;
• the issue and where it appears;
• why you believe it breaches a rule or law;
• relevant dates and concise supporting information;
• your name and a working email address;
• the outcome you seek; and
• confirmation that you are reporting honestly.

Do not send more personal or sensitive information than needed. Do not send intimate images, medical records, passwords, full payment-card data or identity documents unless we specifically provide a secure lawful route. Preserve original evidence privately for police or a regulator where appropriate.

Anonymous information may be considered, but we may be unable to verify it, ask questions or report an outcome. Knowingly false or malicious reports are prohibited.

5. OUR PROCESS

5.1 Triage
We log the report, check for immediate danger, illegal-content indicators, child safety, exploitation, fraud, privacy and security risk, and prioritise accordingly. Credible urgent risk may lead to immediate temporary restriction and referral.

5.2 Acknowledgement
We aim to acknowledge ordinary reports/complaints within 2 working days. We must acknowledge a data-protection complaint within 30 days of receipt. An automated receipt does not mean the allegation is accepted.

5.3 Assessment and investigation
We may review the listing, application history and relevant logs; ask the reporter or Advertiser for information; check a public professional register; preserve evidence; seek advice; or refer the matter to an authority. We collect and disclose only what is necessary and lawful.

We will not normally reveal a reporter’s identity to the Advertiser without consent. We may disclose information where necessary for a fair investigation, legal claim, safeguarding or legal obligation, and will explain where lawful to do so.

5.4 Interim action
We may temporarily hide, restrict or suspend a listing where there is a credible serious legal, security, safeguarding or safety risk. Interim action is not a finding of wrongdoing. A single unsupported report will not normally cause permanent removal.

5.5 Outcome
Possible outcomes include no action; correction or updated disclaimer; request for evidence; warning; removal of specific content; temporary suspension; reinstatement; termination of advertising; preservation/referral to an authority; or a Site/process improvement.

We aim to give an initial substantive response within 20 working days. Complex, legal, multi-party or authority-led matters may take longer; we will provide a progress update where appropriate. Privacy complaints are investigated and concluded without undue delay under the Privacy Policy.

We will share the outcome to the extent lawful and appropriate. Privacy, confidentiality, legal restrictions or risk to an investigation may limit detail.

6. ILLEGAL CONTENT AND ONLINE SAFETY

Where the Online Safety Act applies, we provide an easy route to report suspected illegal content and operate this complaints procedure. We take proportionate steps to prevent and mitigate relevant risks, act swiftly when aware of illegal content, keep required records and make legally required reports.

Content that may be illegal includes child sexual exploitation/abuse, intimate-image abuse, trafficking, fraud, threats, harassment, hate offences, terrorism, drugs/firearms offences and intellectual-property crime. You do not need to prove an offence; identify the content and explain the concern honestly.

7. ADVERTISER NOTICE AND REVIEW

7.1 Where safe and lawful, we tell an affected Advertiser the substance of a moderation concern and give a reasonable opportunity to respond. We may withhold sensitive evidence, a reporter’s identity or information that could prejudice safety or an investigation.

7.2 An Advertiser may request review within 14 days of a final moderation decision through the Contact page, giving the listing reference, decision and reasons or evidence. A person not involved in the original decision will review it where reasonably possible. We aim to respond within 20 working days. One review is normally final.

8. TREATMENT, PAYMENT AND APPOINTMENT DISPUTES

The treatment contract is directly between visitor and Advertiser. First complain to the Advertiser and keep written records. We do not decide compensation or process treatment refunds. We may consider whether the dispute reveals a listing-rule, misleading-advertising, safety or repeated-conduct concern and may ask for evidence.

9. COPYRIGHT, PRIVACY AND IMPERSONATION

Identify the exact content and URL, the right affected, your relationship to the person/work and the action requested. Rights holders should provide a good-faith statement and evidence of ownership/authority. We may temporarily restrict content while checking competing claims and may ask the Advertiser for their licence or consent evidence.

10. DATA-PROTECTION COMPLAINTS

Data-protection complaints are handled under the Privacy Policy. We provide an electronic complaint route, acknowledge within 30 days, make appropriate enquiries without undue delay, keep the complainant informed where appropriate and communicate the outcome. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at any time; the ICO generally recommends giving us an opportunity to resolve the issue first.

11. ABUSIVE OR REPEATED CONTACT

We may limit contact that is threatening, discriminatory, persistently abusive, knowingly false, automated/spam, or repeats a concluded complaint without relevant new information. We will still identify and act on credible safety, illegal-content or data-protection issues and make reasonable adjustments where required.

12. RECORDS AND PRIVACY

Reports are private and never published as reviews. We use and retain report information as explained in the Privacy Policy. Internal notes and unproven allegations are not public. We may share limited information with processors, advisers, insurers, authorities, regulators or parties to a dispute when lawful and necessary.
